Day 1: Arrival &  Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Meet On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport with our professional driver guide and you will transfer to Lake Manyara National Park a lovely scenic park for spotting the tree-climbing lions, good elephants and baboons. The lake itself takes up much of the park, leaving a strip of land running along its shores where game concentrates. You will have lunch en route and arrive at the lodge in the evening . Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara kirurume.

Day 2: Drive from Lake Manyara – Serengeti

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park and check with en-route game drive with picnic lunch. Covering 14,763 sq km of endlessly rolling savannah plains, the Serengeti is Tanzania’s first Established, largest and most famous park wherein tens of thousands of hoofed animals roam in a constant and unremitting search for the fresh grasslands upon which their survival depends. The million-plus wildebeest are the predominant herbivore and also the main prey of a huge cast of large carnivores, principally lion and hyena. Whilst the annual migration is the Serengeti’s most famous attraction, the Park is also renowned for its lion, many of which have been fitted with radio transmitter collars so that their movements may be tracked, and additionally for its wealth of cheetah, zebra, giraffe, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle, eland, impala, klipspringer, hippo and warthog. Day 3: Full-day game drives in Serengeti.

Full-day safari in one of the world’s most famous wildlife reserves. The Serengeti, which Is Maasai name Siringet translates as the endless Plains offers unparalleled ornithological opportunities and an unrivaled natural arena wherein the glory and harmony of nature can be appreciated as nowhere else on earth. Day 4: Game Drive in Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After breakfast, you will continue the game drive through the Serengeti National Park. You will sight hundreds of wildebeests and zebras and often lions and other big cats such as leopards and cheetahs in the Seronera Valley. After lunch at a picnic site, you will drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater. As soon as you have reached the edge of the crater, the caldera opens up before you and you will have a remarkable view of this impressive natural wonder. You will camp for the night on the crater’s edge and enjoy the fantastic view as the sun goes down. Rhino Lodge.

Day 5: Full day Game Drives in Ngorongoro Crater,

After an early breakfast at daybreak, you will drive down into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the unbroken caldera and has unbelievable wildlife diversity. On the grass steppe and in the acacia woods, you will find almost all species that are found in the East African savannah with the exception of topis, Masai giraffes, and impalas. Quite often, you can observe the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) within a couple of hours. Dinner and overnight at Bougainvilleas Safari lodge

Day 6: Drive back to Arusha to Transfer to Kigali

After breakfast drive to Kilimanjaro airport for departure to Kigali Rwanda. Overnight at Hotel chez Lando

Day 7: Kigali- Nyungwe forest National Park

After breakfast, you will transfer to Nyungwe/ National park. Located in southwestern Rwanda, at the border of Burundi, Lake Kivu the south, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. The rainforest is probably the best-preserved montane rainforest in Central Africa.  It is also located near the river Congo basin in the east and the River Nile to the west. The nearest town to this park is Cyangugu found at 54km to the west. The most common mammals in this park are primates and birds. With about 13 primate species and 275 bird species, this park is worth paying a visit while in Rwanda. Along the way, make stops at places of interest including local markets, the traditional palace of Rwanda’s Former King in Nyanza. Dinner and Overnight at Nyungwe Hilltop view Lodge.

Day 8: Chimpanzee tracking

Have breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee tracking. You may spot other primates such as the L’hoest’s monkey and the grey-cheeked mangabeys are often sighted. The birds are spectacular, though as in most tropical forests, you’ll have to look out for them. Giant hornbills, great blue turacos, and red-breasted sparrow hawks are amongst the specials, of which 24 are endemic to this section of the Rift Valley. Dinner and overnight as above.

Day 9: Canopy walks and relaxes in the afternoon.

Day 10: Transfer to Volcanoes National park.

Have your breakfast and transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Lunch, Dinner, and Overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla view lodge

Day 11: Gorilla tracking

After breakfast, you will transfer to Kinigi Park Headquarters to track gorillas in Parc National des Volcans. Gorilla tracking through the forest, hills and swamps can be tough, arduous and tiring, sometimes taking up to 8 hours in the forest. Return and head to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 12: Transfer to Kigali.

After breakfast, you will leave for Kigali.

Day 13: Kigali-Akagera Wildlife National Park

After your breakfast, you will transfer to Akagera National park. Upon arrival take an evening en-route game drive spotting herds of wildlife like lions, buffaloes, water, and bush back, warthogs, giraffes. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight at Akagera game lodge, meal plan: H/B

Day 14: Game drive & Boat ride

Dawn game drive to look for early riser wildlife species and other wildlife like lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, water, and bush backs, among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and after in the evening prepare for a boat ride along the Ihema Lake and over the cruise expect to spot various wildlife along the shores and birds as well. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight, meal plan: F/B

Day 15:  Transfer to Nairobi

After embarking on the safari vehicle and transfer back to Kigali and drop you at the airport for your flight to Nairobi. Overnight in Nairobi

Day 16: Nairobi – Amboseli. (4 hrs -250 km.)

Pick up from Nairobi hotel/Nairobi airport, Depart for the Amboseli national park. The drive is via the Nairobi -Mombasa highway and through Masai country as you head to  Amboseli which lies on the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive Amboseli in the mid-morning. The afternoon shall be spent on game viewing drives in search of an elephant, cheetah, lion, and other plains game. Mount Kilimanjaro in its majesty shall provide the most natural
background for wildlife photography. Overnight at your Amboseli safari tented camp.

Day 17: Amboseli- Lake Nakuru -(420 km: 6 hrs)

Early morning game and scenery viewing drive. Leave for Nakuru proceed to the Lake Nakuru national park. The Lake Nakuru national park is the smallest in the class A category of Kenya national parks. Birdlife abounds with flamingoes in their thousands together with pelicans and other bird species. The lake hosts the black and white rhino species, warthogs, lions, zebras, giraffes, and many more. Overnight shall be at your lake Nakuru tented camp.

Day 18: Lake Nakuru- Masai Mara:(300 km: 6 hrs.)

Leave after breakfast at Lake Nakuru National Park. Proceed to the Masai mara game reserve. Arrive Masai Mara in time for an afternoon game viewing Dinner and Overnight stay at your Masai Mara tented camp.

Day 19: Full Day – Masai Mara

Today shall be a full-day game viewing. Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife Eco-system in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.

The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate, and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop-shop for game viewing activities. We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October) Overnight shall be at our Masai Mara safari lodge/ Tented camp

Day 20: Masai Mara – Nairobi: (265km: 5-6 hrs)

Early per-breakfast game viewing drive. Extra final game drive as you exit the Masai Mara. Depart the Masai Mara for Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon. Meal plan: Breakfast & Lunch.
