A wildlife Safari to the very best stunning Tanzania national parks where you will be able to see vast number of wild animals and birds, this tour takes you to the northern circuit destination visiting the Serengeti plains, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park. The tour will also include visiting beautiful beaches of Zanzibar where you will enjoy the paradise of Africa.

 

Day 1 Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Drive from your hotel to Tarangire National Park after early breakfast. Tarangire

National Park is known for its elephant’s herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you’ll see in one habitat anywhere in the world! The park is also home of tree climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards.

After the adventure of the day you will head to Karatu for overnight.

Day 2: Lake Eyasi Cultural Activities

After breakfast we will drive to the shores of Lake Eyasi.

Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall.

This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’. The Hadzabe tribe (hunter-gatherer Bushmen) live close to the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe.
The visit to these tribes will include a visit to their homesteads, animal tracking; learn about their way of life, medicinal plants, and much more. There are quite a lot of wildlife and a wide range of bird species to be seen here and walks around the lake are easily arranged.

Later you will head to Your accommodation of choice.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park.

This day starts with early breakfast at your hotel followed by a drive through Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park. Take a breath and enjoy the beautiful scenery rolling into the distance as far as your eyes can see. You will head in the central part of the park known as the Seronera circuit which is very rich in wildlife habitat, the place is featured by the Seronera River that provides Water for the Animals.

You will spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of the predators.

You might have the chance to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion.

Day 4 and 5: Serengeti National Park

Early morning game drive in the Serengeti plains. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun set fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal.

Alternatively you might want to explore the untouched parts of Serengeti as you casually drift away from the surface of the earth in the early hours of the morning, safe in the basket of a hot air balloon. . This is an additional activity if you like to add it then confirm with your safari expert.

After breakfast you will proceed to explore the vast savannah of Serengeti in your open roof vehicle with your packed lunch. Take your hat and sunglasses out and enjoy what nature has in store for you.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro.

Say goodbye to the Serengeti with a morning game drive and later in the afternoon start heading towards the Ngorongoro conservation area with a game drive en route.

Your driver will drive on a different route from the one you did before. This drive gives you an opportunity to glimpse what the two world heritage sites have to offer from the golden savannah grasslands of Serengeti to the montane forest of Ngorongoro.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater.

Taking picnic lunches with you, your drive today will lead you to a descend down the crater floor for a full exploration of what the crater has to offer by tracking game with your guide. The crater is 610m deep and 260km² wide, making it the largest Caldera in the world. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopard and buffaloes), hippos, cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena. Also in the crater you can see different species of birds. Other game such as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare.

After the excitements of the day, you will drive to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar.

Day 8-13: Zanzibar

Relax at your hotel or get a chance to explore Zanzibar either by snorkeling, doing a dolphin tour, and swimming with turtles or horse riding at the beach. Any of these activities can be arranged at an extra cost.

Day 14: Zanzibar- Back Home

Transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your International flight back home.
