Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kibale forest national park

You will be picked from your location in Kampala/ Entebbe by our company representative who will be your safari driver/ guide throughout your safari in Ugandan part. You will meet & greet and be briefed about your safari as you embark on a drive to Kibale forest national park. Kibale forest national park is one of the best primate destinations in Uganda that harbors over 13 primate species including Chimpanzees. On your way to Kibale Forest National park, you will have an enroute lunch in Mubende and when you arrive at the park in the evening you will check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi nature walk

You will wake up very early for breakfast and then transfer to the park for chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale forest. Before heading on the Chimpanzee tracking, you will undergo a briefing session in which rules and regulations to follow on this experience will be read to you. Then you will head into the forests in search of chimpanzees, as you walk through the forests you will enjoy sights of birds and other primates living in the forests of Kibale. When you find the gorillas you will be amazed by the beautiful chimpanzees playing on top of the trees, picking fruits and many more. After the activity you trek back to the park headquarters then head to your lodge for lunch, in the afternoon you will embark on an afternoon guided walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary one of the best spot for bird watching and botanical in Kibale forest national park. Return to your lodge later on for dinner and overnight sleep as above.

Day 3: Visit Crater lakes and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

Check out of the lodge and embark on the journey from Kibale forest national park to Queen Elizabeth national park with an enroute visit to the crater lakes. After exploring the crater lakes, you will enjoy an enroute lunch and proceed with your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park is one of the best savanna parks in the pearl that harbors plenty of wildlife species seen on a game drive and boat cruise. Queen Elizabeth national park harbors largest population of Hippos seen along the Kazinga channel during the boat cruise. Upon park arrival, you will check in your lodge, have dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 4: Lion tracking experience/ Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise in Queen

You will have breakfast and prepare for a morning Lion tracking experience/ morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. While driving in this savanna part of Queen Elizabeth national park, you will spot plenty of fauna and flora species including mammals like Lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes, impala, waterbucks, and many more. After the lion tracking experience/ morning game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and embark on an afternoon Kazinga channel boat cruise to watch Hippos, crocodiles, water birds and many more. Later on, you will be driven straight to your lodge for dinner and night rest as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park via Ishasha sector

Will have morning breakfast then checkout of your lodge and set off on a drive from Kibale Forest national park to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park boasts with the half remaining population of these endangered mountain gorillas in the world. On your way to Bwindi, you will drive through Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park where you can get an opportunity to spot tree climbing lions as they hung on tree branches of acacia and fig trees.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable national park

You will wake up early in the morning and head to the park’s headquarters for registration and briefing experience, once at the park’s headquarters dos and don’ts on this experience will be read to you by a ranger. At the headquarters you will also be assigned a gorilla group to trek and hire a porter to assist you, with your packed lunch you will head into the forests in search for mountain gorillas. Looking for mountain gorilla takes about 2-8 hours and when you find them you are allowed to stay in the presence of mountain gorillas for 1 hour taking pictures and observing the behavior of mountain gorillas. You will also spot many birds and other primates, later you will head back to the park’s headquarters for your trekking certificate then head back to your lodge. You may choose to have an evening Batwa experience or opt to relax at your lodge. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge as above.

Day 7: Transfer to Volcanoes national park

Check out of the lodge and meet your safari driver once again for a transfer to Rwanda direct to Volcanoes national park via Cyanika border. Upon park arrival, you will check in your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking and visiting the Ibyiwacu Cultural Village

You will be transferred by your safari driver to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about gorilla trekking together with other travelers that intend to participate in a similar adventure. After briefing, you will then start the journey into the forest to search for the habituated gorillas which takes you about 2-3 hours. After spending an hour with golden monkeys, exit the forest and be driven to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the evening, head out for another cultural experience but this time round to the Ibyiwacu cultural village where you will be introduced to the stunning tradition dance and drama of the local Rwandese and return to your lodge in time for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 9: Golden monkey trekking

You will be transferred by your safari driver to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about golden monkey trekking together with other travelers that intend to participate in a similar adventure. After briefing, you will then start the journey into the forest to search for the habituated golden monkeys which takes you about 2-3 hours.

You will then visit the Dian Fossey Museum and later transfer to your lodge for resting.

Day 10: Transfer to Kigali

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the comfort of your lodge, check out of the lodge and embark on your journey to Kigali with a stopover at the Museum. Upon arrival in Kigali, you will spend your evening at leisure or have a city tour.

Day 11: Flight to Nairobi and city tour

Will be the first thing you will enjoy in the morning breakfast then check out of the lodge and be transferred from your lodge to Kigali international airport for a flight to Jomo Kenyatta international airport Nairobi where you will meet your safari driver that will take you through you safari in Kenya side. You will be briefed about your safari as you drive to the hotel for check in and have a meal. After lunch, you will spend your evening at leisure or enjoy a city tour. There is yet an optional visit to Nairobi national park. You may visit Nairobi National park.

Day 12: Transfer to Amboseli National Park

After your breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and meet your safari driver to embark on a drive to Amboseli national park. This is a 5 hours journey from Nairobi to Amboseli national park via Athi plains and proceed with the journey to the bottom of the highest mountain peak in Africa, Kilimanjaro Mountain where the park is situated. You are expected to arrive in time for lunch. After having your lunch, relax abit in the swimming pool overlook Kilimanjaro mountain peak and later on embark on an evening game drive to watch some mammals such as elephants, Wildebeests, hippos, lions , birds, butterflies and many other attractions with in the park and have a view of the sun as it goes down over the horizon.

Day 13: Full day in Amboseli national park

Your wildlife viewing experience in Amboseli national park will begin with breakfast at your lodge and then you will proceed for a morning game viewing experience and to enjoy photography in the savannah plains of the national park which is home to herds of elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, antelopes, lions, leopards among others as well as different bird species.

You will return to your lodge for lunch and later in the evening, you will have another game viewing experience to search for wildlife species and to enjoy the sunset after which you will be driven back to your lodge for your dinner and to spend the night at your lodge as above.

Day 14: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National park

You will have breakfast at your lodge then check out as you continue your journey from Amboseli national park to Lake Nakuru national park across the rift valley escarpment as you enjoy the beautiful scenery around you since this park is known as the haven of wildlife. Lake Nakuru National park is such stunning destinations in Kenya that thrill in the Great Rift Valley region of Kenya where you will experience fascinating wildlife viewing safari in Lake Nakuru national park Kenya with plenty of tourist attractions ranging from flora species, fauna species and the water bodies among others. Lake Nakuru national park is situated in the north of Nairobi city, the capital city of Kenya. Upon park arrival, you will have be welcomed on an en-route game drive during which you will see wildlife species such as giraffes, rhinos, gazelles, buffalos, antelopes, reedbucks, elands, impalas among others as you head to your lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will have another game drive in Lake Nakuru national park and you will visit the flamingo filled Lake Nakuru which is a good birding spot to see flocks of flamingos along the lake shores as well as other bird species and wildlife species grazing in the nearby plains.

Day 15: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

After enjoying breakfast at your lodge, you will be picked up by your guide from the lodge and set off on your 6 hours’ drive from Lake Nakuru national park to Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara national reserve is a very rewarding Kenya safari destination famous for habiting a variety of wildlife and experiencing the exceptional great wildebeest migration. Masai Mara national reserve is a very scenic Kenya safari destination with endless plains dotted with short savannah plains offering easy views of animals living in the reserve, animals found and spotted in Masai Mara national reserve include lions, cheetahs, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos, wildebeests, hartebeests and many more. Proceed with your journey to Masai Mara National Reserve where you will arrive in late afternoon for lodge check in, have lunch and embark on an afternoon game drive till the sun goes down. Look out for wildlife species such as Wildebeests, Zebras, Elands, buffalos, antelopes, waterbucks, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards and buffalos and many more as they graze and roam around the savannah plains. You will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 16: Full day excursion in Masai Mara National Reserve

After your breakfast, you will be served at your lodge as you prepare to go for your morning game drive in Masai Mara national reserve. During your game drive, you will see a variety of wildlife species such as the predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs as well as other wildlife species like elephants, buffalos, hartebeest, zebras, antelopes as well as wildebeest which are among the spectacular sights at this destination especially during the time of the wildebeest migration as large numbers of wildebeest move around the savannah plains in search of greener pastures.

Lunch will be served at your lodge after your morning game drive and this will be followed with another game drive later in the evening to explore more of the wilderness of Masai Mara national reserve which is also known for sightings of the big five which includes elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos.

Day 17: Transfer to Serengeti national park

You will have breakfast at your lodge in Masai Mara national reserve and after this you will check out of your lodge and embark on a journey to your next destination which is Serengeti national park. You will be driven to the Kenya – Tanzania border at Isebania boarder where you will clear with customs and then meet another safari driver from Tanzania side who will brief you about the remaining part of your Combined Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania safari. You will be driven to Serengeti national park where you will check in your lodge for dinner and have a night sleep.

Day 18: Full day adventure in Serengeti national park

You will start your day with breakfast and then your guide will drive you for your morning game viewing experience in Serengeti national park during which you will see various wildlife species which include elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, antelopes, impalas, elands among others. You will visit the retina hippo pool after returning to your lodge for lunch as you prepare to have an afternoon game drive as you enjoy the open savannah plains and kopjes where you will see lions as they observe their prey. You will enjoy driving around the national park as you look for wildlife species and watch the sunset on the way to your lodge for dinner and overnight sleep as above.

Day 19:  Another Full day adventure in Serengeti national park

You will start your day with breakfast and then your guide will drive you for your morning game viewing experience in Serengeti national park during which you will see various wildlife species which include elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, antelopes, impalas, elands among others. You will visit the retina hippo pool after returning to your lodge for lunch as you prepare to have an afternoon game drive as you enjoy the open savannah plains and kopjes where you will see lions as they observe their prey. Day 20: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Have an early morning game drive in Serengeti national park, after which you will return to the lodge for breakfast before embarking on your journey to Ngorongoro Crater with a packed lunch along the way as you head to Ngorongoro. Upon arrival, you will descend into the Caldera and explore it till the sun goes down then head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 21: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

In case you wish to experience hunting (optional activity) with the local Hadza people, arise very early in the morning, you will then penetrate into the jungle to start the hunt. This is usually a men’s activity as the ladies and children take on the responsibility of collecting fruits. After this, by 10:00am, you will be back to the lodge for a late breakfast before embarking on a journey to connect to Lake Manyara National park. Depending on your arrival time, you will check in your lodge and enjoy an evening game drive.

Day 22: Transfer to Tarangire national park

After an early breakfast at your lodge, head out for a half day game drive in the wilderness of Lake Manyara National park a home to tree climbing lions. You will spot plenty of nocturnal animals and hunters that arise early. After this adventure, check out of the lodge and meet your driver to embark on a journey to Tarangire national park which is your next wildlife viewing destination. On arrival, proceed to check-in your lodge before continuing for an evening game drive if time allows. As you explore the savannah plains of Tarangire national park, some of the wildlife species you will see include herds of Elephants as well as other wildlife species like Zebras, Hartebeest, Elephants, Waterbucks, Gazelles, and Oryx among others.

Day 23: Tarangire national park to Arusha (3 hours’ drive)

Arise on an early morning game drive to explore different parts of the Tarangire national park after which you will return to the lodge for a late breakfast then check out of the lodge and set off on a journey Arusha with a stopover at the craft shops to admire the local arts and crafts and to interact with the local community only if you wish too and your final destination will be back in Arusha for hotel or airport drop-off.
