TWO Today morning after breakfast, you will check out from the hotel for which you will transfer to Akagera National Park.

You may take some time for Community interaction and continue to connect to your hotel in the park, check in. Lunch, dinner and a night at the lodge.

THREE After an early breakfast we take a game drive in search of these animals, the game drive will take u to the northern part of the park where most of the animals prefer to inhabit.

Look out for the Zebras, Giraffes and Impalas which are usually scattered along the game tracks. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch go for a boat cruise. dinner and a night at the lodge.

FOUR Wake up on a more leisure note and have breakfast. After get ready, you will check out of the hotel headed back to Kigali. You will have enroute lunch and drive further to Kigali reaching late evening to check in at your hotel to rest and dinner.

FIVE After having your breakfast at your hotel, you will continue your journey to Nyungwe forest national park. You will have your lunch on the way to the national park which is known for its canopy walk as well as for being one of the oldest and largest rain forests in Africa.

You will proceed to your lodge for check in as you wait to have your dinner and to spend the night at the hotel.

SIX You will begin the day with breakfast at your lodge ahead of your chimpanzee trekking activity in Nyungwe forest national park. Briefing will be had from the park headquarters after which you will continue into the forest in search of the chimpanzees which you will see playing around in the trees. You will spend about 1 hour with the chimpanzees and then return to the briefing point and drive to your lodge for lunch.

 

After lunch you will go for canopy walk and after drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at hotel.

SEVEN& EIGHT After all the intense activities there is no better place to chill and relax than at the beautiful sandy beaches of Lake Kivu, enjoy the beautiful weather and wonderful scenery, see lots of water birds, eat fresh fish. There also water activities you can do on the lake such as boat rides. Transfer and explore Gisenyi

NINE You will begin the day with breakfast at your lodge ahead of your chimpanzee trekking activity in Nyungwe forest national park. Briefing will be had from the park headquarters after which you will continue into the forest in search of the chimpanzees which you will see playing around in the trees.

 

You will spend about 1 hour with the chimpanzees and then return to the briefing point and drive to your lodge for lunch. After lunch you will engage in a canopy walk in Nyungwe forest along a suspended bridge over the trees. You will enjoy seeing the beautiful scenery and after this experience, you will be driven back to your lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

 Drive to Volcanoes National park

TEN After your breakfast at the lodge the driver will drive you up to the park headquarters for a morning briefing. Don’t forget your packed lunch. Later shift from the headquarters to the starting point for your trekking expedition. Distance moved and time taken depends on the location of the gorilla family you are searching for.

 

Once identified, you stay in the presence of these animals for a period of one hour. See them feeding, playing and wandering around.

You are free to take a lot of photos and videos but cameras with flush light are not allowed. After the experience return to the lodge above for relaxation and dinner.

ELEVEN Have morning breakfast. After transfer to the park headquarters for short briefing done before the Golden monkey excursion starts.

Golden monkeys are mostly found in the mountainous bamboo forested areas. While in the jungle you are exposed to other wildlife species.

After lunch as you prepare to drive out from Volcanoes to Uganda. Lunch enroute, dinner and overnight at the specified lodge.

TWELVE  After morning breakfast transfer up to the park headquarters for a briefing about how to behave while in the Jungle. Thereafter enter into the jungle to search for the mountain gorillas.

Meet these apes and you are allowed to be in their presence for only one hour. See them playing, laughing, feeding and more. After gorilla trek return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

THIRTEEN After morning breakfast at your lodge, start the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector route.

If you are lucky, you will be able to see the popularly known tree climbing lions resting up in the fig tree branches. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

FOURTEEN Have morning Game drive exposing you to multiple Wildlife species in the Park. These experiences take 2-3 hours and thereafter return to your lodge or Mweya canteen for lunch.

Take an afternoon launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. You will see different aquatic species like hippopotamus, crocodiles, water birds and other wild animals including elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and more. After return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

FIFTEEN After breakfast, go for chimpanzee trekking in Kyambure. After return to lodge for lunch.

SIXTEEN Later check out for a drive to Lake Mburo National Park. This protected area is liked for its wide range of Wildlife species such as Elands, Impalas, Zebras, sitatungas, African fin foot, birds and more.

Once there you will do an evening boat ride along the eastern banks of Lake Mburo to see swamp birds, crocodiles and hippos, animal salt-licks and sun set.

SEVENTEEN Have a morning game drive after breakfast.

It offer spectacular views of Wild animals like zebras, water bucks, bush bucks, slender mongoose, buffalo, elands, warthogs, bush rat and impalas along with various bird species.

After lunch the Driver will take you for an afternoon boat ride close to the shores of Lake Mburo. Birders will be able to spot countless birds on the shores of the lake including the African fin foot, African grey hornbill, Brown Parrot, Common Scimitar bill, Crested Francolin, fish eagles, herons, Nubian Woodpecker, papyrus bush strike, pelicans, shoe bill stork, weaver birds, white winged warbler and Yellow breasted Apalis. After return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
