  TEA FACTORY  
     
  The Rwandan climate is Ideal for the cultivation of tea: the temperature is mild and the night frost, experienced in some areas on high altitudes, doesn’t affect the production.
Rwanda’s geography is very well suited for tea cultivation. Certainly along the Congo-Nile crest, from the northwest to the southwest of the country the attitudes and the rich volcanic soil make it possible to cultivate tea of first quality.
Situated between the western border of the Nyungwe Nationalpark and the Gisakura Guesthouse there is a small tea factory, which can be visited by you in one or two hours. There its very interesting to see, which steps tealeafs have to go till they are ready to be used for making tea.
